I am passionate about graphic design, letterpress printing, printmaking, paper, illustration and all things well designed.
I have a strong understanding of design fundamentals: typography, proportion, scale, color and composition. I enjoy working with both old and new technology. I create elegant, fun designs where all elements are in harmony and the message is communicated effectively.
I have worked as a Graphic Designer for a variety of clients from higher education to small businesses. I have experience with brand development and project management. I have designed brochures, posters, annual reports, social media assets and more. I am available for freelance design projects, contact me through the Connect page.
Lady Hanover Press is the name of my press and print shop. I am drawn to letterpress printing for the fusion of design, typography, art, machinery and communication. I enjoy the process of working with old materials to create new, relevant designs. I use an Adana 8x5 tabletop press originally manufactured in England that has been restored to perfection.
My studio overlooks Hanover Square in beautiful Brunswick, Georgia; the illustration above is a view of the Square taken from a vintage postcard. The Square still has a fountain I can see from my office and lovely mossy oaks I find quite inspiring. I am fascinating by the history of the area and fancy myself as a modern-day Lady. I print for fun and sell at local markets, online and for occasional custom orders.
I am a curious adventurer, analytical thinker and exceptional communicator. I have a passion to learn new things and push my artistic abilities to new levels by continually challenging myself. Please visit the Connect page to find me online, you can shop Lady Hanover Press here.
